Open Clever Schoology for Families 5th Grade Only School News Upcoming Dates Friday, May 24, 2024- LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS- Early Release at 1:45 p.m. 2024 -2025 Registration Information Early registration for the 2024-2025 school year began March 1. This registration is only for children new to the school district, including those entering kindergarten. Registering your child(ren) early helps us with planning, hiring teachers, and ensuring that the infrastructure is in place to support our new students on the very first day. To be eligible for kindergarten in the SJCSD, children must be 5 years of age on or before September 1 and must reside in St. Johns County. 2024-2025 Online Registration Little Eagles Nest Little Eagles has classrooms for 2-3 year-olds, 3-4 year-olds, and VPK. VPK Enroll now for August 2024 Timberlin Creek Kindergarten Screening Sign Up Kindergarten Screening Sign Up CDC updates regarding quarantine requirements after vaccination: Individuals who have been fully vaccinated – that is, 2 weeks or more have passed since the second dose in a 2-dose vaccine or the first dose in a 1-dose vaccine series – will not be required to quarantine following exposure, provided he/she does not develop new symptoms of COVID-19. The Department of Health (DOH) requests that we follow the current contact tracing protocol, regardless of vaccination status. They will contact exposed individuals to ensure no symptoms have developed, research his/her vaccination status in the state system, and provide further COVID education. The DOH will determine if the individual is exempt from quarantine. The Health Services Department, as well as the school nurses, will work diligently to assist students, parents and staff in this process. For safety reasons we ask that you do not send notes to your child’s teacher. Change in Afternoon Transportation & Early Dismissal If you need to change the way your child goes home in the afternoon or for an early dismissal, please complete our Dismissal Change Form by clicking the button below. The form can also be located in the menu bar under the Eagle Parents tab. We accept dismissal changes up until 2:15 PM every day except Wednesdays. 1:15 PM is the deadline on Wednesdays. Any person passing beyond the front office area must show a valid driver’s license or state identification card.
